Light Kids (children 3 yrs - 5th grade)

Be a part of Light Kids

A place where...
-Fun and learning go hand in hand.
-God's love shines through singing; praying, laughing, and joyful learning.
-Kids learn about the love of Christ and how to show that love to others.

We Live B.I.G. (Belief in God) at Light of the World
Live B.I.G. is the material Light of the World uses to teach kids. It catches children's attention with the message of God's love. It is an exciting approach to Children's Church and Sunday school. It also makes the lesson stick by seamlessly integrating the three ways children learn-hearing, seeing, then living what they learn.
"Believe in God, believe also in me. - John 14:1

At Light of the World we believe that kids matter A LOT! It's our goal for kids to not only have fun but to also learn what's in their Bibles, how to use them, and how to live out their belief in God.

 Growth Groups (Adults)

LIGHT OF THE WORLD GROWTH GROUPS (Grow like Christ)

One of the main avenues to connect with others and grow in your relationship with Christ at Light of the World is through involvement in a Growth Group.

What is a Growth Group and why are they important?
Growth Groups are small groups of people that meet in homes or at the church to build close relationships, laugh a lot, and study the Bible in a relaxed, nonjudgmental, and fun atmosphere.

Growth Groups give an opportunity to get to know others and build relationships in a small group setting. It's difficult to do this in the Sunday morning Worship Gathering. It is also difficult for paid staff members to effectively meet all of the needs of the entire church. People helping one another is Christ's plan for every church.

Who can be a part of a Growth Group?
Anybody and everybody. You'll find folks from all walks of life. Growth Groups are not made up of "know it alls" or "perfect" people. You'll find people just like you, with hurts, struggles, and joys, wanting to make friends as they explore the possibilities of a faith journey.

What happens in a meeting?

  • Friendships are formed.
  • Relevant life topics are explored in light of scripture..
  • People pray for each other.
  • Help and support are offered to one another.
